I introduced the Enhancing Detection of Human Trafficking Act which would ensure that Department of Labor employees receive the proper training to recognize instances of human trafficking and refer these cases to law enforcement agencies.

I will continue to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to protect and preserve the well-being of the Great Lakes for future generations.   

It was an honor to be sworn in as a member of the 118th Congress, proudly representing and serving Michigan’s 5th Congressional District which includes the counties of Branch, Cass, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Monroe, St. Joseph, and parts of Berrien, Calhoun, and Kalamazoo.

Months ago, the Energy and Commerce Committee unanimously advanced my resolution calling for the Biden administration to release documents related to the recall of infant formula and potential impacts on the infant formula supply chain.

While we are happy to have Britney come home, Paul Whelan’s parents will soon have their fourth Christmas without their son who has been wrongfully detained in Russia since 2018.

As a part of the Commitment to America, we will fight inflation and lower the cost of living, make America energy independent and reduce gas prices, and strengthen our supply chain.

Crime has surged across the country, but as a part of House Republicans' Commitment to America, we will fight to defend our communities from crime, illicit substances, and national security threats.
