In the wake of the attempted assassination against President Trump, I supported the creation of a House task force with subpoena power to get to the bottom of these security failures.

On Wednesday, I voted in support of the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which passed the House. The bill requires that all individuals provide documented proof of U.S. citizenship upon registering to vote in federal elections and requires states to remove noncitizens from their voter rolls.
