Military Academy Nominations

Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Military Service Academies. As your 7th District Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, each year I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of high school and college students to four of the five military service academies. The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation. For more information regarding the military service academies and nominations, please review my Service Academy Nomination FAQ page.

The application period for the class of 2021 is now open. If you wish to apply for my nomination, please download the application form here, and send all requested information to my Jackson District Office no later than Friday, November 13, 2020. We understand that students may not have been able to perform standardized testing and may have pass/fail grades or other changes on their academic profiles on this year’s application. If you are unable to provide standardized test results prior to the November 13 deadline, or have anything else you’d like us to consider related to your academics, please write a brief statement on your application with that information.

Best wishes to you as you pursue your goal of attending one of the U.S. Service Academies and serving our country.

If you have any questions, please contact my Jackson District Office at 517-780-9075 or fill out the form below to submit a request for information.

What are these options?
Constituents who are hard of hearing or use a video phone have the option to choose TDD or VP based on the type of device they are using. This allows our office to respond to them accordingly. The default option "Voice" is a standard audible telephone.
