Tours and Tickets

The Sergeant at Arms announced that public tours of the U.S. Capitol have been canceled until further notice. The Supreme Court, Library of Congress, and many other DC attractions are temporarily closed as well. The White House will resume public tours on Saturday, September 12 with new health and safety policies implemented. Please call our office at 202-225-6276 if you have any questions.

My staff and I can assist with reserving tours at a number of popular attractions in Washington, D.C. Please be sure to give my staff ample time to work on your request as most of the attractions operate under a first-come, first-serve approval process. Most tours cannot be requested more than four months in advance and White House tours no more than three months in advance. During peak tour season, March - August, space may be very limited and it is recommended you place your requests four months prior to your visit. Submit your tour requests by filling out our online tour request form as soon as you know the dates you will be available in Washington. Please submit one tour request per group. (*Please include dates that you will be available to tour the different institutions and exclude travel dates)
Tours around Washington are generally available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Once your request form is submitted, we will begin the process of requesting tours. Please note that my office only places the requests and we have no influence over the approval processes at different sites around Washington.
