The House Committee on Education and Workforce has opened an investigation into whether the National Education Association is "contributing to antisemitism among its members and in classrooms across the United States," according to a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg (R-MI) has sent letters to the University of Illinois College of Medicine (UICOM), University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and University of California, Los Angeles Geffen School of Medicine (UCLA Med) seeking explanations from school leaders regarding their response to antisemitism on campus.

In a rare show of bipartisan unity, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Great Lakes Mass Marking Program Act, legislation co-sponsored by Representatives Tim Walberg (R-MI), Debbie Dingell (D-MI), and Bill Huizenga (R-MI).
