Today, the White House issued a ‘veto threat’ for H.R. 2560, the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act.  H.R. 2560 would cut spending by billions in Fiscal Year 2012, cap federal spending as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product, and require passage of a Balanced Budget Amendment before raising the nation’s debt limit.

Today, Congressman Tim Walberg voted to cut more than $111 billion in federal spending this coming year, approximately $5.8 trillion over the next ten years, cap spending at below 20% of the U.S. economy, and require a vote on a Balanced Budget Amendment.  H.R. 2560, the Cut, Cap, & Balance Act of 2011, now moves to the U.S. Senate for consideration.
