H.R. 280 would allow the VA Secretary to recoup bonuses from employees who collected them under false pretenses. H.R.

H.R. 529 would add computers to the list of qualified expenses, allow any refunds to be redeposited tax-free, and update the tax code to eliminate unnecessary paperwork burdens.

H.R. 644, the Fighting Hunger Incentive Act, includes several provisions to promote charitable giving, including making permanent the tax deduction for contributions of food inventory by any type of business. Reps. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.) and Jim Cooper (D-Tenn.) introduced a bill on Wednesday that would require federal agencies to publicly report the costs of programs.
Walberg and Cooper said the measure, titled the "Taxpayers Right-To-Know Act," would help make agency spending more transparent.
