Walberg Votes to Table Impeachment Resolution

December 11, 2025

Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-05) released the following statement after voting to table a privileged resolution to impeach President Trump. This resolution, introduced by Rep. Al Green (D-TX), was the second privileged resolution offered on the House floor to impeach the President this year.

“The American people have made it clear that they want a secure border, lower taxes, American energy dominance, and a return to common sense,” said. Rep. Walberg. “Despite not even being a year into his second term in Congress, President Trump has already delivered on his promises by achieving record-low border crossings, unleashing American energy production, and reversing the failed policies of the Biden administration that fueled inflation and increased costs on hardworking families. I voted to table this latest impeachment sham so we can get back to tackling the issues that matter most to the American people. House Republicans remain committed to delivering real results, instead of playing political games."
