Walberg Votes for Flight Safety Funding
Washington, D.C. - Today Rep Walberg voted to provide immediate funding for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The legislation passed with bipartisan support by a vote of 252-172and is now before the Senate for further consideration.
"I was pleased to see yet another bipartisan measure pass the House today. President Obama and Senate Democrats are already on record for supporting past piecemeal approaches to keep parts of the government open, so it's only fair that they come to the table and work with us to advance other important measures such as flight safety. I remain committed to finding a negotiated way to fund the entire government and provide relief to the American people. We deserve better," said Rep Walberg following the vote.
