Walberg Sworn in for 116th Congress

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tim Walberg was sworn in on Thursday for the 116th Congress, marking his sixth term as the representative of Michigan's 7th District.

"It is a tremendous honor to take the oath of office and have another chance to serve our friends and neighbors in Congress. With every vote I cast, the people's priorities are always on my mind," said Walberg. "Over the next two years, I stand ready to focus on the issues that matter to our communities: Fighting the opioid crisis, rebuilding our infrastructure, and improving skills-based education to equip students for the 21st century workplace. Despite our divided government, I remain committed to getting results for the people of Michigan."
