Walberg Statement on Funding the Government

Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-05) released the following statement after the House passed the Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act. 

"House Republicans have upheld their constitutional duty to fund our federal government," said Rep. Walberg. "This straightforward, short-term, and clean continuing resolution funds core government services and ensures that veterans, military families, and assistance program recipients continue receiving their benefits. I urge Senator Schumer and the Senate to swiftly pass this legislation so we can keep the government open for the American people and allow our appropriators to continue to do their work."
