Walberg Receives Guardian of Small Business Award

Washington, D.C.—Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-07) has been named a Guardian of Small Business by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation's leading advocate for small businesses. Walberg received the award for his strong voting record on behalf of Michigan's small businesses in the 115th Congress.
"Main Street businesses contribute so much to our economy and community, and I am proud to stand in their corner," said Walberg. "Here in the 7th District, I regularly visit with local job creators to hear what's on their mind and how we can give them tools for success. I will continue to champion policies that spur job growth, boost economic opportunity, and help small businesses flourish."
Congressman Walberg serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Education and the Workforce Committee as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions. For more information on Walberg's work in Congress visit walberg.house.gov.
