Walberg Hosts Town Hall in New Buffalo

Earlier today, Congressman Tim Walberg hosted a town hall in New Buffalo, taking questions from constituents on many issues, including the proposed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rule to require 67% of new sedans, crossovers, SUVs, and light trucks to be electric by 2032. Afterwards, he introduced legislation leading nearly 20 colleagues to block this rule and require EPA to update any rules limiting new vehicles based on engine type so consumers can have affordability and choice.

Walberg stated he has had two bills pass the House in the first half of the year and has seven other bills advancing through the legislative process.
Congressman Walberg has previously ranked 10th out of 435 members of the House in the number of town halls he has hosted.Walberg leads the Michigan delegation in numbers of public events hosted.
