Walberg Holds Town Hall in Berrien Springs

Yesterday, Congressman Tim Walberg held a town hall in Berrien Springs to hear from community members about their concerns. Congressman Walberg has previously rankedin the top ten out of 435 members of the House in the number of town halls he has hosted.

The Congressman also provided an update from Washington on the spending negotiations taking place, along with his efforts to secure the southern border and rein in federal spending. Another issue top of mind was the rising Adverse Effect Wage Rate. The Congressman has cosponsored legislation that would freeze this minimum wage rate for H-2A workers, providing much-needed relief to many farmers in southwest Michigan.
