Walberg Holds 5 Town Halls Over District Work Period

Today, Congressman Tim Walberg held a town hall in Stevensville to provide an update on his legislative work, including two bills he authored that were recently included in larger legislation that passed the House: the PROTECT Kids Act and the PIPES Act. He also gave updates on legislation that has passed the House to combat inflation, unleash energy production, assist parents, and increase government transparency.
Constituents asked questions on safeguarding Social Security, balancing the budget, crime and gun violence, and improving the economy.
This was the 5th town hall Congressman Walberg held over the two-week district work period. These gatherings took place in Berrien, Jackson, Lenawee, Monroe, and St. Joseph County.Congressman Walberg has previously received recognition for hosting the most townhalls, coffee hours, and community gatherings in the Michigan delegation and ranked in the top 1% nationally for hosting constituent events.
