Walberg Attends 42nd Annual March for Life
January 22, 2015
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tim Walberg released the following statement today after attending the 42nd annual March for Life. The rally comes on the same day as the House voted on pro-life legislation to ban taxpayer-funded abortions.
"It's encouraging to see the sanctity of life bring together hundreds of thousands of Americans from across the country to march on Washington year after year. Every life is a precious gift and far too many innocent lives have been robbed of the chance to live a full and successful life. No right given to us is as foundational as the right to life. The House took important action today to end taxpayer funding of abortion, and I will continue working to do all we can to protect the unborn."
Congressman Walberg serves on the House Education and the Workforce Committee as Chair of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee. In addition, he serves on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. For more information on Walberg's work in Congress visit walberg.house.gov.
