Walberg Applauds Ford’s New Investment and Jobs in Monroe

Jackson, Mich.—Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-07) released the following statement after Ford announced plans to build a new packaging facility in Monroe, which represents an investment of $35 million that will create more than 600 jobs.

“I am thrilled that Ford has chosen Monroe as the location for its new packaging facility. This is a significant investment that will create hundreds of good-paying jobs and spur greater economic growth in the community. Ford’s commitment to expanding its manufacturing presence in Michigan is no doubt a testament to the high-quality workers that call our state home.”
