Walberg Announces 2025 Congressional Art Competition

Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-05) is seeking submissions from high school students in the 5th Congressional District for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. The winning piece of artwork will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel to the U.S. Capitol, along with the winners from the other congressional districts across the country.

"Michigan's 5th District is home to many talented young artists, and the Congressional Art Competition is a wonderful way to recognize their artistic abilities," said Rep. Walberg. "I am looking forward to another fantastic year of seeing the creativity displayed by high school students across the country. Good luck to all who plan on participating this spring!"

Entries should be photographed and emailed with a typed copy of the 2025 Student Release form to Sean.McGovern@mail.house.gov by midnight on Friday, April 18, 2025. The artwork size should not exceed 26" high x 26" wide x 4" deep, including the frame.
