Walberg Announces 2019 Service Academy Appointments
Jackson, MI--Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-07) is pleased to announce the appointments of eight students from Michigan’s 7th District to attend a U.S. military service academy this upcoming fall.
“Both in and out of the classroom, these young people are leaders among their peers,” said Walberg. “Receiving an appointment to a military academy is an incredible honor, and these students have all proven themselves through their work ethic, strong character, and academic achievements. As Americans, we are indebted to these young men and women for choosing a path of service, and I have every confidence they will continue to make our communities proud.”
