Jackson, Mich. – Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-07) is seeking submissions from high school students in the 7th District for the 2018 Congressional Art Competition. The winning piece of artwork will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel to the U.S. Capitol, along with the winners from the other congressional districts across the country.

“Every year, I am impressed by the brilliant students of the 7th District and the inspiring pieces of artwork that they create,” said Congressman Walberg. “It is an honor to once again host this national competition and provide a forum for art students in our area to showcase their incredible talents in the U.S. Capitol.”

Entries should be photographed and emailed with a typed copy of the 2018 Student Release form to Leeann.Yamakawa@mail.house.gov by midnight on Tuesday, May 1.
