Rep Walberg Votes to Protect Life

Washington, D.C. –Rep. Walberg released the following statement after voting in favor of H.R. 1797, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which passed the U.S. House:

"Every year, over 1.2 million unborn children die at the hands of abortionists, suffering excruciating pain. As a father and grandfather this sickens me. The Kermit Gosnell trial shed more light on the atrocities that go on behind closed doors, but we need to do more to prevent similar cases, and protect the lives of women, babies and the unborn," commented Rep Walberg following the vote.
