Rep. Walberg Votes for Healthcare.gov Transparency

January 16, 2014

Washington, D.C. – Today Rep. Walberg voted in favor of H.R. 3362, the Exchange Information Disclosure Act, requiring the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provide weekly status reports on the troubled healthcare law. The reports would include enrollment numbers as well as an account of ongoing functional problems with the website.

"Three months after the launch of healthcare.gov we still don't know how many people have successfully enrolled. The American people deserve commonsense transparency from this Administration and this bill will require an accurate account of who is really participating in the President's healthcare law," said Rep Walberg following the vote.
