Rep Walberg Votes to Delay Obamacare Mandates for Businesses & Individuals

July 17, 2013
Washington, D.C. – Today Rep Walberg voted in favor of H.R. 2667, the Authority for Mandate Delay Act, which would congressionally authorize President Obama's one year delay of the employer mandate, and H.R. 2668, the Fairness for American Families Act which would also provide the same delay for the individual health insurance mandate.

"While I'm glad the White House finally realizes how burdensome the employer mandate would be, only Congress has the authority to change the law. Today I voted to delay both the individual and employer mandates to save jobs and protect families. It's only fair that all taxpayers – whether businesses or families - receive relief from these burdensome mandates," commented Rep Walberg following the votes
