June 28, 2013
Washington, D.C. - Today Rep. Walberg voted in favor of H.R. 2231, the Offshore Energy and Jobs Act, to expand U.S. offshore energy production by requiring the Administration to move forward with offshore energy production in areas containing the greatest amount of oil and natural gas resources.
"One sure way to create jobs is expanding our country's energy production. Increased domestic energy production will help lower energy prices for both families and businesses, increase energy security, create jobs and help grow a healthy economy," commented Rep. Walberg following the vote.
