Rep Walberg Tours Area Affected By Tornado In Dexter

U.S. Rep Tim Walberg released the following statement after touring Dexter and the surrounding areas affected by last night’s tornado with Governor Rick Snyder:

“Unfortunately, there was far more devastation than I expected to see. Dozens of homes were destroyed andhundreds more impacted. However, the governor and I are grateful for the quick reaction of the community and huge outpouring of support. Crowds of people are asking where they can volunteer while local businesses set up food and water stations. It’s exciting to see small town America come out in support of each other during tragedy. The Governor and I will be working closely with local authorities on relief efforts and stand ready to assist where needed,” commented Congressman Tim Walberg following the tour.
