Rep. Walberg Announces Service Academy Appointments

Washington, D.C. - Rep. Tim Walberg is pleased to announce the appointments of six students from Michigan's 7th district to U.S. service academies. All six have accepted the appointments and will begin in the summer of 2013.

West Point:
Nathaniel Mellifont (Ann Arbor, MI)
Zachery Page (Olivet, MI)

Air Force Academy:
Thomas Golding (Gregory, MI)
Robert Chaney (Jackson, MI)
Nathan Bossory (Chelsea, MI)

Naval Academy:
Chandler King (Ann Arbor, MI)

Rep Walberg released the following statement following the appointments:

"A Military Academy appointment is a distinct privilege which these students have worked very hard to achieve. Graduates of U.S. Military Academies have gone on to hold distinguished careers in defense of our country. I know these students will achieve great things, and I wish them all the best in their future pursuits."
