Congressman Walberg Sworn in for 119th Congress

Washington, D.C.-- Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-05) was sworn in on Friday for the 119th Congress, marking his ninth term as a representative for the people of Michigan. Congressman Walberg is the Dean of the Michigan Congressional Delegation and during the 119th Congress, he will serve as Chairman of the House Committee on Education and Workforce and also serve on the House Committee on Natural Resources.
“It is an honor and a privilege to continue serving the constituents of Michigan’s 5th Congressional District in the 119th Congress," said Rep. Walberg. "For the next two years, I will work hard with my fellow members of the House and President-elect Trump to promote policies that will lower costs for families, promote American energy dominance, secure our borders, and uphold our national security. As Chair of the Education and Workforce Committee, I will also work to empower parents, protect worker freedom, and ensure that Americans develop the right skills needed to keep our nation competitive. My office is also here to serve the people, and we have a team of dedicated caseworkers eager to help constituents resolve issues with federal agencies. I remain committed to getting results for the people of Michigan.”
