WSJM: Walberg to highlight gas prices in Berrien County next week

Congressman Tim Walberg will be in Berrien County on Wednesday to highlight the burden inflation has placed on drivers.
He’ll stop at a gas station that has yet to be identified while the gas station offers customers a break. Walberg’s office says it’s going to sell gas for $2.38 a gallon to represent how things were before inflation rose.
Americans for Prosperity-Michigan is partnering with the gas station to offer the deal.
Walberg will talk with drivers and promote his Choice in Automobile Retail Sales, or CARS Act, which he says would reduce the red tape that’s made vehicles more expensive. It would block the EPA from implementing stricter emissions standards.
Walberg’s office will reveal which gas station the Wednesday event will be at next week.
