WSBT: Michigan representative talks about Iran, SAVE Act and deadly tornado investigation

Michigan Representative Tim Walberg (R) spoke with WSBT about Iran, SAVE Act and the deadly tornadoes that went through parts of our area.
Walberg said an investigation into the lack of warning before deadly tornadoes hit, may not be a bad thing.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer first called for a federal investigation into why the National Weather Service didn't issue a watch before a string of tornadoes killed four people in Cass and Branch Counties on Friday.
WSBT 22's Bob Montgomery asked Congressman Tim Walberg about this issue.
Walberg called this is a political move, but says anything that can help save lives is a good thing.
"An investigation, if we want to find and we're doing that ourselves and we find where we can bump it up better in the future that's good, but let's keep it out of politics," said Rep. Tim Walberg (R) Michigan 5th District.
Experts say to keep your phone on for emergency alerts and your NOAA weather radio nearby to get alerts as conditions change.
Representative Tim Walberg reiterated President Trump's goal in the war with Iran.
Walberg says the president's agenda is clear and is not to take over the Country.
WSBT asked him about concerns that Americas may not be getting the full picture of what the end goal of the war is.
“I'm not really sure how that can be said because the President's all along said there are basically three points. One, we take out the maligned leadership that has threatened America for the past 47 years and has accounted for thousands of Americans killed, maimed and injured at facilities, as well and the chants of "death to America" that comes from the leadership,” said Walberg
