The Monroe News: Rep. Walberg addresses data centers, tariffs, AI at Frenchtown town hall

Fifth District Congressman Tim Walberg spoke Jan. 5, at a packed town hall at Frenchtown Township Hall's board room.

For an hour, residents from places like Monroe, Bedford Township and Jackson posed questions to Walberg. Several questions involved data centers. Cloverleaf Infrastructure is currently proposing data centers in Frenchtown Township and Dundee.

Walberg said he’s “supportive of local communities deciding” on whether to approve data centers.
