Leader Publications: Berrien County Health Department celebrates Niles office renovation with ribbon-cutting

The Berrien County Health Department invited community members to celebrate the opening of its newly renovated Niles office during an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday morning.
Hosted by the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber of Commerce, the event featured comments from several public officials including Niles City Administrator Ric Huff and Rep. Tim Walberg.
“The City of Niles is incredibly grateful to this investment here and the County Commissioners’ support of this investment,” Huff said. “There’s a lot of needs in our South County and travel is a challenge for many people to get between the south county and north county; that is something we hope to solve in the future and we’ve been working at that for a while. This is an incredibly important facility to us, and we’re just so grateful that this is occurring here in the City of Niles.”
