Hillsdale Daily News: Walberg visits Key Opportunities, Hillsdale ISD Tech Center

HILLSDALE — Congressman Tim Walberg spent time in the 7th District Monday visiting with clients of Key Opportunities and students at the Hillsdale ISD Tech Center.

While visiting the tech center Walberg visited with students in each of the center's trades classes.

The Hillsdale ISD Tech Center offers classes in construction trades, welding, cybersecurity and digital forensics, engineering and CAD, criminal justice and health sciences 1-2.

While visiting with the students Walberg stressed the importance of the skilled trades in today's economy.

He told the students that the job market for those learning a skill trade was a good one.
