Jackson Veterans Fair

It was a pleasure meeting and assisting over 100 veterans who attended the Veterans Resource Fair that my office hosted at the Jackson County Veterans Affairs Office. A special thank you to the veterans organizations who joined us and serve our veterans each day.

Coffee Hours Across the 7th

It was great to be in Chelsea, Delta Township, and Quincy for recent coffee hours with constituents. We covered many important topics like strengthening career and technical education, protecting Social Security, expanding affordable health care options, and more.

Combating the Opioid Crisis

In collaboration with Andy's Angels, an educational non-profit in Jackson County, I was able to speak to students at Northwest High School about the dangers of drug addiction and the opioid crisis. To learn more about my work on this issue, please visit /heroin.

Thanks to CharlotteRising, Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations for giving me an update on Main Street and the exciting new projects planned for downtown. It's exciting to see what these community leaders have planned!
