Following the results of the election, I will continue working with the incoming Trump administration to advance an agenda that includes tackling inflation, unleashing American energy, securing our border, and upholding our national security. Please know I consider it an honor and privilege to represent the 5th District of Michigan in the United States Congress, and I am grateful for your ongoing interest in receiving updates on my work during a very busy and productive time.
The 60th Inauguration Ceremony will be held on January 20, 2025. My office will be provided with a limited allotment of tickets to offer to constituents who wish to attend the swearing-in ceremony on the west front of the U.S. Capitol. If you would like to attend the event, please fill out this form. Please note that tickets are not guaranteed.
If you have already contacted my office to request tickets, then you do not need to request tickets through this form as well. A member of my staff will reach out with more guidance. More information regarding the Inauguration can be found here.
Over 430,000 fewer students completed FAFSA applications for the 2024-2025 award year due to the delays and uncertainty caused by the Department of Education. Recently, the House passed the FAFSA Deadline Act, which will ensure that FAFSA is released and fully operational by October 1st each year. This legislation will provide better transparency to families who are planning for college.
My office is currently accepting applications for internships in my Jackson, Niles, and Washington, DC offices. All college students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Interns will have the ability to serve constituents and simultaneously learn about the federal legislative branch of our government and its interactions with other federal agencies. For more information on how to apply, please visit my website.
