Looking Back on 2024

2024 has been another busy year. I've continued visiting communities across southern Michigan in each of the ten counties of Michigan's 5th District. Our team in Jackson and Niles have continued to assist constituents with casework concerns and are always here to help you as you navigate the federal government.

Eight of my bills passed the House this Congress. I led the congressional effort against electric vehicle (EV) mandates, passing the CARS Act. Working with my colleagues to gain support, my bills to crack down on human trafficking, lower health care costs, and streamline the federal broadband rollout also passed the House. Other efforts I've led to bolster parental rights, protect children online, and strengthen border security have advanced as well.

As you may know, I was recently selected to lead the House Committee on Education & Workforce. I've begun working with the incoming Trump administration to ensure students, parents, and workers will be prioritized as we get back to the basics and make our economy great again!
