Honoring our veterans
A Tribute to America's Veterans

This weekend, as we observe Veterans Day, we pause and say thank you to the men and women who answered America's call to service. It is our duty to uphold our commitments to those who sacrificed so much for our freedom. In Congress, I am working to improve health care for veterans, enhance job and educational opportunities for our troops when they return home, and increase accountability and transparency at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Jackson Veterans Resource Fair

We had a great Veterans Resource Fair this week in Jackson to assist veterans and their families. Thanks to the many veterans organizations who participated and helped make it a success.
Recognizing Veterans Volunteer Work

Morgan Scarbro from Eaton Rapids has a heart for helping veterans, our military, and their families. She's 14-years-old and created a non-profit called Morgan's Hugs. If there is a veteran in need, Morgan springs into action. I shared her story on the House floor this week.
Thanking Veterans at Ann Arbor VA

In recognition of Veterans Day, it was a privilege to spend time at the Ann Arbor VA to honor and pay tribute to our nation's veterans. We can't say thank you enough.
