Today we celebrate all the kind, loving, and dedicated mothers in Michigan and across the country. We owe them so much gratitude for their unconditional love and the sacrifices they make for us. To all the moms, I wish you a wonderful and blessed Mother's Day.
Coffee Hour in Jackson County
Thank you to everyone who came out for my coffee hour this week at the Jackson County Tower Building. It was my sixth coffee hour so far this year, and I look forward to continuing to hear from you as I travel the 7th District.
Visiting Charlotte Middle School
I teamed up with Google this week to visit Charlotte Middle School to deliver the Online Safety Roadshow. It was a fun assembly and opportunity to teach the students how to develop smart and safe internet habits. Click here for more pictures from the assembly.
Combating the Heroin Epidemic
This week I participated in a panel discussion at the Michigan Theatre in Jackson about combating opioid and heroin addiction in our community. Lt. Governor Brian Calley, Jackson County Sheriff Steve Rand, and Mike Hirst from Andy's Angels were among those also on the panel.
