Washington, D.C. Today, Rep Walberg voted in favor of H.R. 2019, the Kids First Research Act, which provides targeted and coordinated pediatric research funding through the National Institutes of Health while terminating taxpayer funding for political party nominating conventions.

Walberg voted for bipartisan legislation that extends authority for the Department of Veterans Affairs to run a number of important programs, including treatment for mentally ill and homeless veterans, housing assistance for homeless veterans, and assistance for disabled veterans to compete in the paralympic programs.

But recently he attempted to apologize to those who are losing health insurance because of the law. While I'm glad the president is starting to see the truth, the American people need more than just apologies.

JACKSON, MI – U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg introduced a House Resolution that would honor a Jackson police officer who died on duty in 2010.

Walberg, R-Tipton, has proposed the United States Post Office downtown Jackson, be designated as the "Officer James Bonneau Memorial Post Office."
