Description:  The funding would be used for replacing the Tertiary Filter, a critical part of the process in treating water discharged into Lake Michigan, which is a significant source of drinking water for the community and region.

Project Name: Main Street Transmission Line Watermain Replacement

Description: The funding would be used for replacing over 2,000 ft. of watermain, water service replacement, boring and jacking of watermain under M-60 providing critical redundancy to the north half of the Village, and associated roadway restoration and replacement.

Description:  The funding would be used for capital repair and engineering on 48 bridges under Monroe County Road Commission jurisdiction.

Project Name:  Indiana-Michigan River Valley Trail (IN-MI RVT) Project
Project Sponsor:  City of Niles
Location: 333 N. Second St., Ste. 301, Niles, Michigan 49120
Requested Amount:  $3,552,000
Description:  The funding would be used for the replacement of a picnic pavilion at Riverfront Park in downtown Niles, resurfacing the oldest Michigan portion of the trail in downtown Niles, and the construction of the next phase of the trail north of Niles.  The new phase of the trail system will work towards expanding the existing 17-mile IN-MI RVT that currently routes from Mishawaka IN to Niles, MI. This 8-mile trail extension will connect north to five new municipalities in Berrien County MI providing connected accessible transportation options and recreational opportunities.

Project Name: EquiFlow: Vicksburg Water Infrastructure Renewal

Description: The funding would be used for the replacement of the watermains and associated residential connections within Priority #2 Area, an area comprised of older residential housing and a Vicksburg Community Schools building.  This will replace approximately 160 residential connections and ensure there are no lead components within this water delivery service area.
