Description: The funding would be used for the replacement of a picnic pavilion at Riverfront Park in downtown Niles, resurfacing the oldest Michigan portion of the trail in downtown Niles, and the construction of the next phase of the trail north of Niles. The new phase of the trail system will work towards expanding the existing 17-mile IN-MI RVT that currently routes from Mishawaka IN to Niles, MI. This 8-mile trail extension will connect north to five new municipalities in Berrien County MI providing connected accessible transportation options and recreational opportunities.
