Washington, D.C. - Rep. Walberg voted today in support of several pieces of legislation to assist our nation's veterans.
Washington,D.C.– Today, Rep Walberg voted in favor of H.R.3080, the Water Resources Reform andDevelopment Act (WWRDA), to authorize ports and waterway infrastructureprojects while implementing commonsense reforms that to reduce bureaucracy, andfoster sustained economic growth. WWRDA passed by a bipartisan vote of 417 -3.
Washington, D.C. - Rep Tim Walberg released the following statement on his vote against the negotiated Senate deal:
The federal government has now been shut down nearly two weeks and each day we get closer to reaching our debt limit. You're frustrated, and so am I. As your representative I believe one of the chief responsibilities of my job is to advance ideas that make our country stronger, while recognizing there are many different opinions on the issues before us.

Washington, D.C. - Today Rep Walberg voted to provide immediate funding for border security programs at the Department of Homeland Security. The legislation passed with bipartisan support by a vote of 249 - 175 and is now before the Senate for further consideration.
Washington, D.C. - Today Rep Walberg voted for the Honoring the Families of a Fallen Soldiers Act. The legislation passed with overwhelming bipartisan support by a vote of 425 -0 and is now before the Senate for further consideration.
Washington, D.C. - Today Rep Walberg voted to provide immediate funding for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The legislation passed with bipartisan support by a vote of 252-172and is now before the Senate for further consideration.
Washington, D.C. –Today Rep Walberg welcomed Hillsdale Resident Heather, Tritchka-Stuchell, and her family to Washington, D.C. to receive the 2013 Angels in Adoption award. Heather was chosen for her advocacy on behalf of the needs of children.
