New Investment in Delta Township Plant
I was delighted to join local leaders at the Delta Township plant this week as GM announced a new $36 million investment. It is GM’s newest plant in the United States, and it employs some of the best workers in the entire country. Continuing to build on the plant's success, and investing further in its workers, is tremendous news for the 7th District and the state of Michigan.
Preparing Students for 21st Century Careers
As a member of the Education and Labor Committee, I am a strong supporter of career and technical education programs. The Jackson Area Career Center is one of them, and I was pleased to stop by its open house this week.

Thanks to all of the constituents who joined us for coffee hour at Columbia Township this week. We covered a wide range of important issues, including securing the border, creating good-paying jobs, and expanding access to rural broadband.
