Following the House's passage of comprehensive legislation to combat the heroin and opioid epidemic, Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-07) will host a community forum to discuss the bipartisan legislation and continue working with leaders at the local level to solve this public health crisis. The forum will take place on Monday, May 23 at the Jackson High School Library and feature a panel of experts from the law enforcement, non-profit, and medical communities. It is free and open to the public.

"We’ve seen too many lives lost, dreams unfulfilled, and families suffering at the hands of addiction. I look forward to hearing from local leaders who are fighting back on the front lines and continuing to work with them to find community-based solutions to combat the heroin and opioid epidemic," said Walberg.
